what's behind zoro's eye

as evryone can see after the TS zoro's 1 eye has been missing.so here are my thoughts about it.

1.lost one eye in the training
2.its one of mihawk's eyes
3.only opens the eyes when doing a strong technique
so what do think

this has been done b4 but whatever ill answer again...

i think he keeps it closed to challenge himself and one day when he faces someone that pushes him to his limit he will be in a situation where it looks like he will get his head cut off and he will all of a sudden block the sword maybe move faster or something then he will look up after with both eyes open and say something really badass that will be used in sigs until the end of time haha
